Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Anchorage Arrival

Welcome to Alaska! Arrive into Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Upon arrival into Anchorage you will be met by your local tour director, and transfer to your local hotel. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 2

Anchorage to Seward

Breakfast will be included this morning. Enjoy a brief city tour of Anchorage, which includes the historic downtown district. Included visit to the Anchorage Museum, a world-class museum which seeks to preserve, exhibit and interpret the art and history of Alaska. Board the deluxe motorcoach for today’s grand adventure to Seward, gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park. As you travel along the scenic Turnagain Arm, keep an eye out for Dall sheep high up in the rocky cliffs, as well as moose, bear and eagle on your journey. Welcome dinner included this evening. Overnight Seward.

Day 3

Seward

Breakfast is included this morning at your hotel. Spend the morning exploring the coastal community of Seward. Later this morning, board a glacier and wildlife cruise and travel deep into the waters of Kenai Fjords National Park. Explore the face of a glacier, and keep your eyes open for marine wildlife such as seals, sea lions, whales, and more throughout this half-day exploration cruise. The rest of today is at your leisure. Overnight in Seward.

Day 4

Seward to Denali National Park

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning before boarding your deluxe motorcoach for a journey north to Denali National Park. The route takes you along the scenic Parks Highway, and today allows for several stops along the way. Keep an eye out for a glimpse of the majestic Denali the nation’s tallest peak as well as wildlife along the way. Upon arrival in Denali, settle into your accommodations for a two-night stay near the Park’s Entrance. The evening is at your leisure to explore on your own or opt for a variety of additional tours. Overnight near Denali's Park Entrance.

Day 5

Denali National Park

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Travel deep into Denali National Park aboard the Tundra Wilderness Tour, and search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and more. This six-to-eight-hour journey is narrated, allowing for insight into the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region. After your time in the park, enjoy an afternoon of exploring this pristine area at your leisure by either participating in a complimentary park service activity, or optional tour. There are many to choose from, including mild or wild river rafting, flight seeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River, or a visit to an Iditarod Champion’s award winning dog kennel. Spend a second overnight at your accommodations near the Park’s Entrance.

Day 6

Denali National Park to Talkeetna

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning before boarding the Alaska Railroad for a journey south. Travel aboard deluxe dome rail cars as you head to the quaint community of Talkeetna, Alaska. Upon arrival, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Explore this quaint town, or participate in an optional tour such as flightseeing, hiking, or a jetboat adventure. Overnight in Talkeetna.

Day 7

Talkeetna to Anchorage

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning before continuing your journey south to Anchorage via deluxe motorcoach. Enjoy time at your leisure in Anchorage. This evening, share stories of your Alaskan adventure with your travel companions at a closing night dinner. Overnight at your Anchorage hotel.

Day 8

Anchorage Departure Day

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning. Bid farewell to Alaska as you head to the Anchorage International Airport for your departure flight home.
