Day 1
Orlando Arrival
Welcome to the capital of Family Fun. Get settled in and get ready for a fun-filled Florida vacation filled with beautiful beaches and adventure!
Day 2
Orlando
Considered by many as the happiest place on earth due to the many Walt Disney World attractions, you may want to spend you day at one of the fun-filled parks which Walt Disney World offers: Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios or one of the many water parks. Not to be overshadowed by Disney, Universal Studios and Seaworld also have their own exciting brand of characters and attractions which you may choose to enjoy. (optional, fees apply)
Day 3
Orlando – Clearwater/St. Pete Beach / driving distance: 106 mi / 171 km
Drive west on I-4 through one of the agricultural areas of central Florida and arrive in Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is Florida’s largest open water estuary extending more than 400 miles. You may choose to make a stop in Ybor City which was founded in 1880s by cigar manufacturers and has the oldest continuously operated restaurant in Florida, Columbia Restaurant which serves Cuban cuisine. Located on the Gulf of Mexico, you will find Clearwater Beach which was awarded Florida’s best beach town in January of 2013. Connected to Clearwater Beach is St. Pete Beach and many small beach towns in between.
Day 4
Clearwater/St. Pete Beach – Sarasota – Naples / driving distance: 172 mi / 277 km
Head south along the gulf coast to beautiful Sarasota, a popular beach resort which lots of quaint shopping, a great place to pick up an ice-cream cone to cool down from the Florida heat! Sarasota is also the hometown of The Ringling Brothers, “The Greatest Show on Earth”, perhaps visit their museum (optional, fees apply) to learn more about the history of circus life. Then continue on your journey south to Naples which was also founded in the 1880s, the name caught on when promoters described the bay as “surpassing the bay of Naples, Italy”. This is a great place to enjoy the beach and stroll through the historic town center with great shopping and admire the Spanish architecture.
Day 5
Naples – Miami / driving distance: 125 mi / 200 km
Hold onto your seats and prepare for the ride through the wild coast of Everglades National Park, known as the “Alligator Alley” due to the overwhelming number of fresh water alligators. The good things on this single stretch of road is that it’s very difficult to get lost! Everglades National Park, a diverse series of habitats that shelter a wide variety of plants and animals. While crossing the Everglades, stop and visit the Miccosukee Indian Village. End your day arriving into the heart of South Florida, Miami.
Day 6
Miami
On the tip of the Florida peninsula bordered by emerald water and white sand beaches you will find the jewel of the Atlantic Ocean – Miami Beach. Experience Miami’s outdoor lifestyle, art deco architecture and design along with its cultural food and contagious nightlife, it’s easy to see why some never leave. This is the place where the celebrities from around the world come to play. Kick back on a patio café, lay on the beach or window shop the world famous boutiques of the Lincoln Street corridor – this is the place to come see and be seen!
Day 7
Miami – Space Coast – Orlando / driving distance: 241 mi / 389 km
Cruise north up A1A with the beach on your right and the orange groves to your left and you will understand why Floridians call this “The Land of Good Living”. Explore the Florida east coast moving through the lavish estates of Palm Beach, home to such American iconic families as the Kennedy’s, Vanderbilt’s and Trumps and the tranquil beaches of Vero, Surf City and Cocoa Beach. We highly recommend landing on the Space Coast and exploring the Nasa Kennedy Space Center. Blast off from Cape Canaveral and continue back to Orlando.
Day 8
Orlando
Finish your trip off with a splash by visiting one of the waterparks or relax by the pool before your trip home. (optional, fees apply)
