Day 1
Toronto
Arrive at Toronto Lester B. Peterson International Airport. Pick up your rental car and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2
Toronto – Niagara Falls / driving distance: 82 mi / 132 km
Today travel to the magnificent Niagara Falls.
Day 3
Niagara Falls – Thousand Islands – Ottawa / driving distance: 353 mi / 568 km
This morning, journey along the St. Lawrence River to the popular resort of Gananoque. The next stop is Canada’s capital city of Ottawa. The Parliament Buildings are a key sight in this elegant city.
Day 4
Ottawa – Mont Tremblant / driving distance: 146 mi / 235 km

Day 12
Percé
This is an important fishing port where numerous attractions, activities, and scenic wonders await such as Île Bonaventure and Percé Rock Park.
Day 13
Percé – Carleton / driving distance: 121 mi / 194 km
Continue along the scenic seacoast to Carleton where you will overnight.
Day 14
Carleton – Kings Landing Historic Settlement – Saint John / driving distance: 378 mi / 609 km
Travel across the province of New Brunswick to Kings Landing Historical Site. This is a meticulous restoration of a typical village in the Saint John River Valley dating back to the 1800s. Then continue on to Saint John.
Day 15
Saint John – Fundy National Park – Hopewell Cape – Moncton – Magnetic Hill – Shediac – Charlottetown / driving distance: 270 mi / 435 km
Explore charming Downtown Saint John with its cobblestone streets and quaint old gas lamps before traveling to Fundy National Park to see its charming covered bridges. In Moncton, view the Tidal Bore and visit Magnetic Hill. In Shediac, continue on to the Confederation Bridge, for the eight mile ride across the Northumberland Straight onto beautiful Prince Edward Island.
Day 16
Charlottetown
Prince Edward Island is a striking land featuring bright carpets of green grass leading to bright red cliffs, and provides many unique attractions and sights.
Day 17
Charlottetown – West Bay (via car ferry) / driving distance: 185 mi / 303 km
Leave Charlottetown and enjoy a ferry ride across from Prince Edward Island to Caribou, Nova Scotia. From there, travel to the northernmost part of Nova Scotia, cross over the Canso Causeway and enter beautiful Cape Breton Island. Continue on to Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site.
Day 18
West Bay (Cape Breton Island, Cabot Trail)
Travel on the Cabot Trail, the East Coast’s answer to California’s Pacific Coast Highway. As this scenic drive makes a giant horseshoe around the northernmost part of Cape Breton Island, see stunning seascapes of giant cliffs and high mountains as they tumble down in to the ocean from high above the sea. Return to Baddeck.
Day 19
West Bay – Halifax / driving distance: 100 mi / 647 km
This morning drive through mainland Nova Scotia and continue on to the capital city of Halifax where you may want to enjoy a trip to beautiful Peggy’s Cove, a lobster fishing village, and a walk on the giant white granite boulders to the picturesque lighthouse perched on them.
Day 20
Halifax Departure
Return you rental car back to the location at Halifax International Airport prior to your return flight.
